This workshop will explore therapeutic storytelling/yarning from Indigenous healing practices and provide opportunities for reflection and experiential learning that will enhance our work as health practitioners.
Key aspects of Storytelling traditions include deep listening, the centrality of spirituality, elimination of hierarchy, respect for the truth of the storyteller, the need for balance in all things, and the reciprocal and relational nature of healing work.
Dr Lewis Mehl-Medrona, Dr Mark Wenitong and Dr Louis Peachey invite us to join them as they Yarn with each other and the group. Expect to be both challenged and enriched!
