Tim Senior

Tim Senior has worked as a GP at the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in South West Sydney since 2005. He is the Medical Advisor in the RACGP National Faculty of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Indigenous Health and General Practice at Western Sydney University School of Medicine. Together with Liz Sturgiss, he set up the RACGP Specific Interests network on Deprivation and Poverty. He writes on General Practice and health policy and education, with a particular interest in health equity, and the social and environmental causes of poor health. He is a contributing editor at Croakey Health Media, and writes regularly for the British Journal of General Practice. He has practiced and taught in the Northern Territory and Thursday Island, as well as in the UK, and is active on Twitter as @timsenior.
